Once your application has been processed, you will receive a system-generated email with a system-generated password to use to log into your account. You are strongly advised to log into your account as soon as you get this email, and then change your password. Here's how to proceed:
- Log in to the forum.
- Look for your username at the top right corner of the page. Click on it to reveal a drop-down menu. Select "User Control Panel".
- In the UCP, select the Profile tab. In the left menu panel, click "Edit Account Settings".
- Enter your new password twice, then enter the current password (the one you received in the email). NOTE: The field to enter the current password says you need it to change your email or username. This should actually read email or password. Usernames can not be changed.
